As some of you may already know, next weekend, the 5th of August, a motorbike run will take place in aid of two little local boys, Aaron and Rían, who both have Duchennes muscular dystrophy. Aaron is the son of Sinead and Dermot Langan both club members of Naomh brid. Many people don’t know much about Duchennes muscular dystrophy so if you’d like to learn more about it there is a link below. The motorbike run is taking place all around Donegal town and surrounding townlands on Saturday afternoon with a BBQ and music in woriskeys afterwards. Tickets are currently being sold at €10 for a raffle that will take place in woriskeys with the prize being a motorbike! All proceeds collected will support these boys and their families down the line. If you would like to show your support to these young lads especially for a family in our own club, please contact either Sinead or Dermot langan or any family member on either side of the clán to buy a ticket for the raffle, or join us on Saturday afternoon for an evening of good fun.
